My fascination with old structures, surfaces and facades has been the inspiration for this collection of work, completed in the last five months. The rich textures one finds in the simplest of things often reveals a whole new world of its own. – the unexpected, the hidden images, the mystery.
Moving from the imposing structures of the old world into the emptiness and silence of the Australian land continues to be a challenge and a joy and has greatly influenced my work.
