Christopher Spaven

Drawn directly from a life model, Christopher strives to avoid the use of a set 'nude pose', drawing as quickly as possible, with careful observation, to create sweeping simple lines, flowing with rhythm and harmony. Christopher's work focuses on the dynamics of the human form and structure as well as the interplay of light and shade using medium charcoal, water colours and oil paints.
